Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) in Massachusetts is seeking a Cultivation Technician to maintain the health and vitality of cannabis plants during the Flowering and Harvest stages. This hands-on role supports optimal plant development through monitoring plant health, canopy management techniques and harvest procedures in alignment with company protocols and compliance.

Pay is $19.00 per hour, with a Mon-Fri 7am–3:30pm schedule.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM: Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Registered Agent Card.
• Comfortable in high humidity environments with plant odors and fluctuating temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cannabis plants during flowering to support bud development and plant vitality.
• Perform canopy management including defoliation, pruning, trellising and staking for light penetration and airflow.
• Assist with harvesting in accordance with SOPs to preserve product quality and consistency.
• Identify signs of stress, nutrient deficiencies, pests, or diseases and report to Cultivation Lead or IPM team.
