Job summary

C3 Industries is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support facility and transportation operations by monitoring adherence to state and local cannabis laws, regulations, and company policies. The role includes audits, METRC oversight, documentation, and regulatory reporting across assigned markets.

You will work with cross-functional teams to strengthen compliant operations, track corrective actions, and prepare for inspections and regulator requests, while ensuring accuracy and readiness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in compliance or quality control.
• Cannabis industry experience is preferred.
• Experience using METRC is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication with regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled, random, virtual, and on-site compliance audits of cultivation, processing, production, and transportation operations.
• Monitor METRC and other state-required cannabis tracking systems for inventory accuracy, user permissions, transfers, and testing activity.
• Review facility records to ensure accuracy and regulatory alignment; document findings for corrective action.
• Identify discrepancies and control gaps; escalate to stakeholders and support timely remediation.
• Support regulatory risk assessments and updates to policies and procedures.
• Prepare and assist with regulatory reports, filings, and inspections.
• Collaborate with operations, legal, HR, IT, and leadership to embed compliance in daily work.
• Assist in training team members on compliance tools and procedures.
