Job summary

District Cannabis LLC is seeking a Compliance Manager to support regulatory and operational compliance across our cultivation, operations, and retail locations in Washington, DC and Maryland. You will conduct audits, review controls, and partner with site leadership to drive corrective actions.

The role requires 5+ years in regulated environments, a Bachelor's degree in Business, strong analytical skills, and the ability to travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• Minimum of five years of operations management in a multi-site or regulated environment.
• Three to five years in compliance, auditing, regulatory operations, cannabis operations, investigations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, investigative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel regularly between DC and Maryland facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled, risk-based compliance audits across facilities.
• Review practices, controls, and documentation to identify gaps.
• Support readiness for regulatory inspections.
• Audit inventory records and METRC/POS to verify accuracy.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Escalate significant compliance concerns to leadership.
• Provide training and coaching on compliance practices.
• Maintain knowledge of DC and MD cannabis laws.
