Vireo Health of Rocky Mountain is seeking a Budtender at our Lakewood, CO Starbuds location to deliver exceptional customer service, share in-depth product knowledge, and create an educational, welcoming shopping experience for our customers.

This part-time role emphasizes compliance, cash handling, and accurate POS use, with a focus on cannabis products and responsible consumption. The position offers $16.37 per hour plus tips, with varied shifts across evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis and its products is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in cash handling and accurate basic math calculations.
• Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Extend a warm and professional welcome to customers, attentively listening to their preferences.
• Offer expert product recommendations tailored to usage scenarios.
• Educate customers about cannabis products, effects, and safe consumption methods.
• Uphold store appearance and organize product displays.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product releases, and regulations.
• Efficiently manage cash transactions and use the POS system.
• Adhere to all company policies and state/local regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, customer-centric atmosphere.
• Support Management Team in store activities and operations, including checkouts and cash handling.
