Job summary

See’s Candies is seeking a Retail Shop Manager to lead a dedicated team, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service in our Buckeye shop. You’ll oversee daily operations in line with See’s guidelines and values.

Responsibilities include building a sales-focused, customer-centric environment, achieving daily to annual sales goals, managing cash handling, scheduling, payroll, and compliance with policies and safety protocols. Previous retail management experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of retail management experience.
• Proven ability to develop, motivate, train and coach employees.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational skills, cash handling, and merchandising ability.
• Ability to follow and enforce company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shop’s team, creating a sales-focused and customer-centric environment.
• Achieve daily, monthly, and annual sales goals.
• Communicate and implement company direction, policies, and programs.
• Delegate tasks, ensure team compliance, and provide follow-up.
• Resolve customer and employee concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Train and develop team members on company programs, policies, and procedures.
• Provide coaching and feedback to the team.
• Drive recruitment and selection of qualified candidates.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Monitor and control expenses to meet budget goals.
• Manage cash handling, asset protection, and banking procedures.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and approve weekly payroll.
• Ensure compliance with wage/break laws.
• Create weekly schedules with District Sales Managers.
• Handle paperwork for deadlines (banking, hires, inventory).
• Other duties as assigned.
