Job summary

See's Candies in Burlingame, CA seeks a seasoned production leader to manage candy making from raw materials to finished goods, aligning with safety, quality, service, and cost standards. You will oversee ERP-driven scheduling, staffing, inventory control, and production reporting, coordinate HR with union contracts, and supervise supervisors and staff while upholding GMP and food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of management experience in confectionery or quality food-manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; Spanish a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in business, sciences, or food discipline or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee candy-making operations ensuring safety, quality, service, and cost.
• Manage ERP transactions for scheduling, staffing, planning, inventory, and reporting.
• Coordinate hiring/layoffs with HR and establish shift schedules.
• Supervise production personnel and maintain SOPs and training.
• Ensure GMP, food safety compliance and monitor KPIs.
• Develop and manage departmental budget and expenditures.
• Promote safety and a safe work environment.
