Job summary

See’s Candies in Burlingame, CA, seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee candy-making operations from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards.

You will lead operations personnel, manage ERP scheduling, inventory, and production reporting, and coordinate staffing with HR under union contracts. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in food-manufacturing management are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least five years of management experience in confectionery or food-manufacturing settings.
• Experience with inventory control, QA, and process flow from raw materials to finished goods.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all candy-making operations, ensuring safety, quality, service, and cost.
• Manage ERP transactions for scheduling, staffing, and production reporting.
• Coordinate hiring and layoffs with HR under union contracts and establish shift schedules.
