Job summary

Skydio is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to be the “Face of Skydio” for candidates, onsite at our San Mateo HQ. You will manage interview logistics, greet candidates, and support university recruiting events and intern programs.

You’ll learn recruiting tools like Ashby and Workday while collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining detailed candidate records. This entry-level role offers growth in People Operations within a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

• In-person at Skydio HQ in San Mateo 4-5 days per week.
• 0–1+ years experience (internships, campus roles, student orgs, or customer service).
• Hyper-organized with strong attention to detail and a reliable to-do list.
• Customer-obsession mindset and ability to make candidates feel valued.
• Tech-savvy and quick to learn Ashby, G-Suite, and Workday.
• Clear communicator who asks questions when needed.
• Eager to start in a fast-paced, high-tech company building the future of flight.
• FAA Part 107 certification within 60 days is encouraged for all employees and required for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule phone, video, and onsite interviews across departments.
• Greet candidates onsite, provide office tours, and create a welcoming environment.
• Coordinate campus events, career fairs, and intern onboarding with University Recruiting.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in Ashby to prevent any drop-off.
• Assist the People team with branding, swag management, and event planning.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and keep the hiring process moving smoothly.
