Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to collaborate with faculty and staff.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Ability to analyze information and address work-related issues.
• Experience with laboratory animals is a plus.
• Previous lab experience is preferred.
• Willingness to commit for 2 years.
• Knowledge of biology, chemistry or medicine preferred.
• Eagerness to learn and follow institutional SOPs.

Responsabilités

• Set up, adjust, calibrate, clean, maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
• Prepare supplies and maintain work areas; may order supplies.
• Conduct standard biological, microbiological or biochemical tests and collect samples.
• Isolate, identify and prepare specimens for examination.
• Analyze data and write reports; assist in grant preparation and publications.
• Participate in grant applications and manuscript preparation as needed.
• Maintain detailed lab notebooks and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Monitor lab activities for EHS and SOP compliance.
• Keep up with literature and potential method improvements.
• May assist in animal studies and budget monitoring.
