• Ability to conduct standardized biological, microbiological or biochemical tests and analyses.
• Experience in grant preparation and manuscript preparation or contributing to publications.

• Set up, adjust, calibrate, clean, maintain and troubleshoot equipment
• Clean, maintain and prepare supplies and work areas, may be responsible for ordering supplies
• Conduct standardized biological, microbiological or biochemical tests and analyses
• Isolate, identify and prepare specimens for examination
• Analyze data and interpret results; write reports and summaries; contribute to publications
• Participate in grant applications and prepare reports for collaborators
• Maintain detailed notebooks and support invention disclosures and IND filings
• Ensure compliance with EH&S and SOPs; stay current with literature
• Design and execute advanced experiments and develop procedures
• Communicate with collaborators and manage interactions
• Meet project deliverables and timelines
• May examine animals and specimens for disease or problems
• May monitor laboratory budgets
• Perform other duties as required
