Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston seeks a Laboratory Technician to support DNA damage research and general lab operations. You will perform routine assays, maintain notebooks, and help prepare samples for analyses.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry and strong communication and teamwork. The position offers a collaborative environment within a leading cancer research center.

Formación

• Knowledge of biology, chemistry, or medicine is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, adjust, calibrate, clean, maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
• Clean, maintain and prepare supplies and work areas; may order supplies.
• Conduct standardized biological, microbiological or biochemical tests and analyses.
• Isolate, identify and prepare specimens for examination.
• Analyze experimental data and write reports or summaries; may co-author publications.
• Participate in grant applications and manuscript preparation as required.
• Maintain detailed notebooks of all activities.
• Monitor compliance with EH&S and SOPs.
• Keep up with literature and research publications.
• Develop or improve standard operating procedures.
