Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a research laboratory with at least 2 years in management.
• Excellent written and oral skills.
• Strong knowledge of HR activities preferred.
• Familiarity with cancer research lab operations including equipment maintenance, safety, compliance and record keeping.
• Experience with automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Institute, maintain, and improve standard procedures for laboratory efficiencies and expenditure.
• Oversee inventory maintenance and ordering of lab reagents and supplies.
• Supervise or coordinate care and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Ensure good laboratory practice through supervised activities of technicians and trainees.
• Assist PI with agreement deliverables and development of critical workflows for grants.
