Job summary

This role is the first point of contact for many patients, handling appointment scheduling, coordinating interpreter services, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

You will handle insurance referrals, paperwork, and various related tasks while maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional customer service to patients

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years of experience in a medical or scientific research setting or comparable technology-oriented business environment required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support and coordination for all aspects of patient care for both new and established patients.
• Schedules appointments following guidelines that support continuity of care and timely communication.
• Arranges interpreter services and resources to support high-quality patient experiences.
• Answers telephone calls and collects detailed clinical information to resolve issues or escalate to management.
• Recognizes urgencies and responds using standard operating procedures and critical thinking skills.
• Provides program-specific information to callers and refers calls as appropriate.
• Schedules patient visits and manages changes for one or multiple providers.
• Assists in processing paperwork including insurance claims and medical forms.
