Job summary

The RN Advisor uses the nursing process to plan and manage patient care by providing individualized, quality nursing care to cancer patients and family members over the phone, in accordance with established Cancer Center guidelines and EHR policies.

Using Duffy's Quality Caring Model, ensures calls are answered promptly and accurately while assessing urgent signs and symptoms and documenting interventions in the EHR, collaborating with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; BSN within 1 year of hire.
• Registered Nurse licensure in Florida or multi-state privilege.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to cancer patients and families over the phone.
• Plan and manage patient care using the nursing process and guidelines.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EHR; liaise with clinical team.
