Job summary

UVA Health's Emily Couric Cancer Center seeks a Program Coordinator to support data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, and operational improvement across oncology programs. You will extract, analyze, and organize data; develop reports and dashboards; and present insights to leadership to improve access, timeliness, and patient outcomes.

Collaborating with clinical operations, screening programs, and leadership, you will shape data-driven decision making in a mission-driven healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collect, interpret, and present data effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze, and organize operational and clinical data.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Create visualizations and presentations for leadership and operational teams.
• Support clinic operations through analysis of access and workflow performance metrics.
• Monitor and evaluate patient journey data, including referral-to-treatment timelines.
• Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Support cancer screening programs through reporting and analytics.
• Assist in developing tools that help navigators and care teams track patient follow-up and surveillance needs.
• Measure effectiveness of supportive care programs and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders within a matrixed organizational structure.
• Present findings and recommendations that support data-driven decision making.
• Transform complex data into actionable insights that improve patient care and operational excellence.
