Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA is seeking a Research Technician II in Cancer Biology. You will support laboratory research, perform bench-level experiments, operate analytical instruments, and help prepare data summaries for publication-ready figures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological science or related field.
• 2 years of experience working in a lab outside of school coursework or equivalent.
• Must show initiative, be a team player, and have excellent attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Culture and maintain a collection of cancer cell lines.
• Prepare samples and carry out biochemical and PCR-based assays.
• Perform drug efficacy studies in mice.
• Prepare tissue sections for histology work.
• Analyze data from assays using various software packages.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
