Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Research Technician I/II to support cancer immunology research in the Fong Lab. The role involves managing a mouse colony, coordinating experiments, and assisting with in vivo studies using murine models and patient-derived samples.

The successful candidate will contribute to projects on anti-tumor immunity, with opportunities to work with single cell, spatial, and computational approaches. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related scientific field.
• Experience in a research laboratory setting and basic lab skills.
• Familiarity with murine experiments and ethical animal handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain a large murine colony.
• Schedule and coordinate experiments with lab members and collaborators.
• Maintain inventory of reagents, stocks, and media; monitor animal wellbeing.
• Support complex experimentation and data collection.
