University of Central Florida is seeking a Zone Manager in Facilities Operations to lead a high-performance housekeeping and maintenance team across campus buildings. You will oversee staffing, vendor coordination, and daily operations to align with university standards and customer expectations.

The role focuses on safety, budgeting, and process improvements while serving as the primary customer liaison and ensuring timely response to urgent work orders.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supervising housekeeping/maintenance operations.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and maintenance teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, state regulations, and SOPs.
• Develop controls to safeguard assets, manage budgets, and boost efficiency.
• Review and manage work orders in IWMS.
• Schedule maintenance and housekeeping with teams, vendors, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Forecast manpower and track progress with reports.
• Inspect work for quality and compliance with UCF standards.
• Communicate with customers and address requests promptly.
• Conduct service reviews and drive service improvements.
