Job summary

The University of Florida is seeking an HPWT Maintenance Supervisor to lead a Maintenance Generalist, Custodial Worker III and Custodial Staff, ensuring safety and timely service for the HPWT Zone.

Responsibilities include assigning work orders in AiM, supervising repairs to floors, ceilings, doors, and plumbing, coordinating with other trades, and monitoring performance. Apprenticeship or equivalent experience required; 40-hour week with a 5:00 AM start.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved apprenticeship program or a high school diploma with five years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: multiple trades apprenticeship or four years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of computers and asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, assist, schedule, motivate and evaluate the HPWT team.
• Ensure safety procedures and policies are followed.
• Assign Work Orders in AiM and track time.
