Job summary

University of Oklahoma is seeking a student to staff the OU Memorial Union Welcome Center and support campus events. You will greet visitors, determine needs, and direct them to the proper services while working around your class schedule.

This role requires current Fall term enrollment, maintaining a minimum 2.5 GPA, and attaching your Fall class schedule. Hours vary, with shifts 8 AM–11 PM on weekdays and additional weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled at the University of Oklahoma for Fall term.
• Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Must attach Fall class schedule.
• Experience working in a high-traffic environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Staff the OMU Welcome Center, greeting visitors and directing them to appropriate services.
• Provide day-of event service support including setup verification and A/V assistance as needed.
• Perform frequent building rounds to maintain cleanliness and report issues.
• Assist with clerical tasks for OU Memorial Union and Campus Scheduling.
• Operate the Lost & Found program and manage inquiries.
• Attend regular student staff meetings and training sessions.
• Work special event shifts as required and perform related duties.
