Position Summary
The purpose of this role is to serve and guide prospective students on informative and experiential campus tours, including individualized tours, group tours, virtual tours, and golf cart tours.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with GCU and GCE staff and prospective students professionally and cheerfully.
- Implement effective communication and presentation strategies to represent GCU's academic excellence.
- Provide support to full‑time employees by completing promotional and administrative tasks.
- Assist with enrollment events and ongoing office projects as needed.
- Work independently, completing required tasks with the highest quality of work.
- May occasionally be asked to work evenings or weekends.
Qualifications
- Strongly prefer students who are available to work on‑campus during the summer.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, proactive, self‑assured, organized, and dependable.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Confidence using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Comfortable operating various office machines and greeting visitors.
- Accuracy in work over speed; take pride in quality.
- Comfortable multi‑tasking on occasion.
- Previous office experience preferred.
- Willing to work 20 hours per week.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Eligibility Requirements
- Enrolled at GCU as a full‑time student in a bachelor’s program.
- Retain a 2.0 GPA at the bachelor level, or a 3.0 GPA.
- Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
- Subject to termination if below minimum requirements.
Compensation & Term
- Pay Rate: Minimum Wage.
- Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027.
