Job summary

OSU-Stillwater invites applications for a leadership role in campus transit operations. The successful candidate will oversee transit, paratransit and motor coach services, mentoring drivers and ensuring safety, customer service and ADA compliance.

Operate campus and city routes, oversee pre-trip inspections, and coordinate daily operations with supervision. Strong leadership and experience as a bus driver or similar vehicle operator are required, with a Class B license including P and air brake

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; degree conferred by start date.
• Three years of experience as a bus driver or comparable vehicle.
• Must have and retain a Class B Commercial license with P endorsement and air brake endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational support for campus transit, paratransit, and motor coach services.
• Serve as senior operator and mentor drivers; promote safety, ADA compliance and customer service standards.
• Operate vehicles on campus and city/state routes; oversee pre-trip inspections and maintain operational records.
