Job summary

The University of North Georgia in Gainesville seeks a part-time Campus Tour Guide to welcome prospective students and families, sharing UNG’s opportunities and culture during campus tours.

You will support recruitment efforts and participate in events like Nighthawk Preview, while representing UNG in a professional, engaging manner.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
• Must be available for at least one tour a week.
• Campus tours take roughly 1.5-2 hours to complete.
• Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a representative for the University of North Georgia
• Provide campus tours weekly
• Assist with out open house event, Nighthawk Preview
• Assist in other departments with possible recruitment efforts
• Attend meetings as needed
• Make phone calls to prospective students and families

Job Summary

A Campus Tour Guide is a vital position in the recruitment efforts in Undergraduate Admissions. The Campus tour guide gives prospective students, parents and special guests of the University insight to the opportunities and the culture of North Georgia.
