Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is seeking a University Relations Recruiter to support intern and student hiring in Austin on a hybrid schedule, with in-person presence for key campus events and intern engagements.

You will own full-cycle recruitment for interns, partner with managers to define role requirements, deliver an excellent candidate experience, and drive intern conversions across technical programs. This contract role supports multiple campuses and industries.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting interns or university students.
• Experience sourcing top student talent and presenting candidates to leaders.
• Ability to manage full recruitment lifecycle for interns.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for interns and intern conversions, primarily for technical roles
• Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and drive hiring decisions
• Deliver a strong candidate experience, from outreach through onboarding
• Drive a 50%+ intern conversion rate by engaging eligible graduating interns early
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple business units
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance in the Applicant Tracking System
• Support local recruiting and internship events (on-site attendance required)
• Contribute to various University Relations initiatives and projects as assigned
