Job summary

AMD in Austin is seeking a University Relations Recruiter to lead intern recruitment across technical roles, from sourcing to offers. The role is contract, hybrid, with in-person events required.

You will partner with managers, drive intern conversions, ensure a strong candidate experience, and navigate ATS documentation. This position supports AMD's talent strategy and campus partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting university students and interns is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for interns and intern conversions, for technical roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and drive decisions.
• Deliver strong candidate experience from outreach to onboarding.
• Drive 50%+ intern conversions by engaging graduating interns early.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple units.
• Ensure accurate ATS documentation and compliance.
• Support local recruiting and internship events; on-site attendance required.
• Contribute to University Relations initiatives and projects.
