Job summary

Consumers Energy is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner (Campus Recruiting & Intern Program Manager) to attract and pre-select top early career talent. You will design university and internship programs, manage relations with schools, and partner with HR to drive workforce plans.

The role emphasizes coaching leaders on hiring practices and building a strong employer brand. You will oversee program operations, track metrics, and ensure positive candidate experiences while aligning with Consumers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field with 2 years of experience in a Human resources role
• OR Associate's Degree with 4 years of HR experience
• OR High School Diploma with 6 years of HR experience

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to anticipate workforce needs and build diverse talent pipelines
• Plan and oversee campus career fairs, information sessions, and interviews
• Design and lead the intern program, onboarding, mentorship, projects and conversion to full-time roles
• Track hiring metrics and program outcomes to improve early career recruiting
• Serve as primary contact for Intern Councils and coordinate program initiatives
• Engage with college career centers and faculty to strengthen relationships
• Provide guidance to leaders on hiring practices and candidate fit
• Manage full-cycle recruiting with a strong customer-service orientation
