Job Description:

The Campus Support Clerk supports daily campus operations bymanaging deliveries, mail, work orders, shipping services, facilityinspections, inventory, vehicle monitoring, and event support toensure a safe, professional, and efficient campusenvironment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures timely retrieval of mail from Post Office and deliverythroughout campus
  • Ensures mail and packages are appropriately prepared fordistribution
  • Provides courier service for special pick-up or deliveryrequests
  • Maintains accurate records for postal charges, cash receipts,incoming/outgoing registered mail, and certified and expressmail
  • Receives and tracks inventory of some office supplies andmedical disposable supplies
  • Assist with room set-ups for meetings/classes and events
  • Represent department and the University favorably and inaccordance with established Core Values and expectations
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed to meet the goalsand objectives of the organization and department
  • Drive shuttle, as needed, to and from Kansas City campus
  • Providing care of campus loaner vehicles includingmaintenance/cleaning
Qualifications:
  • Requires flexibility to work during special events occurring inthe evenings or weekend
  • Requires knowledge typically obtained through high schooldiploma or equivalent
  • Requires physical ability to routinely lift a maximum of 55pounds; ability to bend, reach and stand for extended periods
  • Must have valid Class E or higher Driver's license
  • Must have the ability to read and write English
  • Must be dependable, and have good communication andorganization skills
  • Requires the ability to read names and familiarize quickly withdepartments and students for sorting of mail into mailboxes
