Job summary

Manchester Community College seeks a part-time Student Support Specialist to assist prospective and current students with admissions, registration, financial aid, and student accounts. The role operates in the Welcome Center with a 10:30am–4:00pm schedule, 27 hours per week, on campus.

The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree and at least two years of customer service experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and familiarity with student information systems like Navigate and Banner.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in education, business administration, accounting, mathematics or related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in customer service, student services, admissions, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provides a welcoming environment for all students and guests of the college and assists with admissions, registration, financial aid, and student accounts policies.
• Maintains student records and uses Navigate, SIS and Banner to support enrollment and related processes.
• Serves as the Welcome Center point of contact and helps connect students with appropriate offices.
