Job summary

Lansing Community College invites student applicants for the StarZone Student Employee role to provide excellent customer service to current and prospective students. The position will assist with various clerical duties within the Student Affairs Division and report to the Enrollment Support Specialists Manager, who will assign tasks and provide direction for division initiatives.

Qualifications

• Enrolled and actively attending LCC; minimum credit hours per semester.
• Minimum 2.00 GPA unless first semester or waiver approved.
• Active pursuit of a certificate, associate, or undergraduate degree at LCC.

Responsibilities

• Add customers/students inquiries into the StarZone queue for follow-up.
• Answer phones and route calls as needed.
• Fulfill information requests and assist with group visits.
• Support Enrollment Support Specialist with projects as requested.
• Assist with division initiatives such as recruitment and events.
• On-campus duties may be at Downtown or West Campus during the interview process.
