Student employees in the Transfer Center will assist with providing excellent customer service and support for representatives, faculty, staff and students from partnering universities and Lansing Community College. Additionally, they will assist and support the Transfer Center’s front desk, facilities, and offices.
Regular on campus presence is expected for all LCC employment. Any flexible work schedules and/or hybrid work schedules approved by the College are subject to change based on the needs of the LCC community. LCC policy requires all LCC employees to be residents of the State of Michigan and to perform all work (with limited exceptions) within the State of Michigan. Final candidates will be subject to a criminal background check as part of the employment process.
The primary purpose of student employment is to provide current LCC students the opportunity to acquire job skills and experiences during semesters in which they are attending classes as follows:
