Job summary

Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth campus is seeking support staff to assist academic and administrative departments. The role reports to the Director of Student Life and involves clerical tasks, customer service, and handling donations for the Heron’s Nest.

The position requires enrollment in at least six credit hours per semester, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. It is a part-time role with a maximum of 15 hours per week at $14 per hour.

Qualifications

Must maintain enrollment for a minimum of six credit hours per semester.
High School diploma or equivalent credential.
No experience required.
Valid Driver's license required.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds individually or up to 40 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of clerical, customer service and program support tasks based on departmental requirements.
Picks up, loads and unloads food donations for the Heron’s Nest under the Director’s guidance.
Assists in stocking shelves and placing donated goods in appropriate receptacles.
Provides administrative support to office staff, including help with routine tasks and special projects.
Complies with all system, college, state and federal rules and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
