Qualifications

• Three years of stockroom experience including receiving, recording, maintaining records and supervising staff.
• Knowledge of stockroom methods and stock record keeping procedures.
• Knowledge of transportation, shipping and packing methods.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions and to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Supervises receipt and delivery to units of all merchandise delivered to Central Receiving and all USPS mail and interoffice mail processing.
• Oversees the campus-wide copier program and fixed asset tracking.
• Trains and supervises student assistants on processing and safe handling of merchandise.
• Enters requisitions and authorizes invoices for shipping expenses and copier rental charges.
• Maintains inventory records and ensures proper documentation of shipments and deliveries.
