Job summary

UC San Diego is hiring a Storekeeper to support HDH within the RRSS team. You will enter part numbers, track stock in Maximo, and perform regular inventory counts across satellite shops on campus.

You will help move and log items, coordinate pickups, and ensure accurate records for deliveries and reporting. The role requires ability to lift heavy objects, drive for pickups, and maintain accurate files with good customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience with invoices, POs, packing lists and freight documents.
• Ability to handle large quantities of merchandise and perform heavy labor.
• Attention to detail and accurate numbers.
• Valid California driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Experience with PCs and inventory software; ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry of part numbers, stock and receipts into Maximo.
• Perform monthly/quarterly inventory counts for satellite shops.
• Prepare and deliver reports for data entry and year-end counts.
• Maintain organization of satellite shops and distribute stock.
• Arrange pickups from vendors and log related paperwork.
• Ensure outgoing Marketplace orders are scanned before delivery.
