Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Temporary Campus Store Team Member to join our campus store in Florida. You will greet customers, help locate materials, and operate the POS system to process transactions while keeping the floor organized and well-stocked.

You’ll work with teammates in a fast-paced environment, gain product knowledge, and support inventory and daily store operations. This temporary role offers varied hours and valuable retail experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexible schedule during the temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating items and products that meet their needs.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked sales floor.
• Assist with inventory, receiving merchandise, and order fulfillment.
