Job summary

Barnes & Noble College invites applications for Seasonal Campus Store Team Members to deliver exceptional customer service, help customers locate materials, and maintain a welcoming, organized sales floor.

This role supports daily store operations, including inventory, replenishment, and checkout transactions. Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, is required to meet peak academic periods and campus needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating course materials, school supplies, apparel, gifts, and other merchandise.
• Operate the POS to process transactions including cash, credit, and financial aid purchases.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor through merchandising, replenishment, and housekeeping.
• Support inventory, receiving merchandise, and other operational tasks.
• Collaborate with teammates to accomplish daily priorities in a fast-paced setting.
