Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule year-round, including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers locating course materials, school supplies, apparel, gifts, and more.
• Operate the point-of-sale system for transactions including financial aid purchases.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor with regular merchandising and replenishment.
• Support inventory and daily store operations to keep the store customer-ready.
• Develop product knowledge to confidently assist customers.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Contribute to a clean, safe store environment reflecting the Barnes & Noble College brand.
