BARNES & NOBLE COLLEGE seeks Part-Time Campus Store Team Members to deliver exceptional customer service in a vibrant college-store environment. You will help students find materials, operate the register, and keep shelves stocked and organized, enabling a welcoming shopping experience that reflects the Barnes & Noble College brand.

The role supports daily store operations with inventory, merchandising, and customer assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Help customers locate course materials, school supplies, apparel, and other merchandise.
• Operate the POS system to process cash, credit, and financial aid purchases.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and restock merchandise.
• Assist with inventory, receiving merchandise, and order fulfillment to keep the store customer-ready.
• Develop product knowledge to confidently assist customers.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized store reflecting the Barnes & Noble College brand.
