Job summary

Evangel University is seeking an HVAC technician to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems across university buildings in Springfield, MO. You will monitor control systems and train staff on safe operation.

Regular hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with on-call emergencies requiring after-hours work and flexible time off provided. The role requires at least 2 years of HVAC experience, a valid Missouri driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience servicing and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid MO driver’s license.
• Background check required.
• Experience with VRF, DOAS, Boiler and Chiller systems preferred.
• Experience in HVAC controls and software systems preferred.

DEPARTMENT: Facilities

CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Full-Time

JOB SUMMARY:

This position reports to the university’s HVAC supervisor and involves comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation of HVAC and mechanical equipment in all university buildings. The technician will also monitor, troubleshoot and repair control systems and provide customer training on the safe operation of HVAC equipment. Regular work hours 8am-4:30pm. Technician will respond to on-call/after-hours emergencies with flex-time provided.

QUALIFICATIONS:
