Job summary

Evangel University seeks a Campus HVAC Technician to perform maintenance, repair and installation of HVAC and mechanical systems across campus buildings. Reports to the HVAC supervisor; on-call after hours with flex time.

Hours are 8am-4:30pm, starting immediately; requires 2+ years experience, valid MO license, and willingness to participate in background check. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience servicing and repairing commercial HVAC systems.
• Valid MO driver's license
• Background check required
• Experience with VRF, DOAS, Boiler and Chiller systems preferred.
• Experience in HVAC controls and software systems preferred.
• Must be dependable, detail oriented, self-motivating, possess excellent customer service skills.
• Campus work truck and tools will be provided.

Job Description

Job Summary

This position reports to the university's HVAC supervisor and involves comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation of HVAC and mechanical equipment in all university buildings. The technician will also monitor, troubleshoot and repair control systems and provide customer training on the safe operation of HVAC equipment. Regular work hours 8am-4:30pm. Technician will respond to on‑call/after‑hours emergencies with flex‑time provided.
