Compass Group USA, at University of Chicago, is hiring immediately for a full-time Sous Chef. Location: 1155 East 60th Street, Chicago, IL 60637. Schedule varies with evenings, mornings, weekends, and some holidays required. Prior culinary and supervisory experience is required. Pay ranges from $27.00 to $30.00 per hour.

• Requires prior culinary and supervisory experience.
• Full-time Sous Chef position at University of Chicago.
• Pay range shown as hourly wages.

Responsabilidades

• Cooks and prepares food following recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling and training.
• Maintains sanitation and proper food handling, temperatures and safety procedures.
• Monitors inventory, deliveries, and waste; informs supervisor of shortages.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner.
