Job summary

Qualifications

• Must maintain good academic standing and be a WSU student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
• Enrolled as a student at Wichita State University before or during employment.
• Experience with social media platforms and content creation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, schedule and publish content for social media platforms to promote Student Engagement & Belonging programs and services.
• Develop engaging captions, stories, reels and short-form videos aligned with WSU branding.
• Collaborate with staff to gather information and content for events, campaigns and initiatives.
• Assist in monitoring social media accounts, respond to messages, comments and engage with followers.
• Capture photo and video content at events and around campus for future posts.
• Track social media insights and engagement metrics to improve content performance.
• Contribute creative ideas to social media strategies and campaigns.
• Maintain an organized library of social media content, photos, videos and templates.
