Job summary

California Institute of the Arts is seeking a Campus Operations & Transportation Specialist to provide safe, reliable shuttle services for the campus community. You will follow scheduled routes, monitor passenger capacity, and ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained.

During breaks, you may assist the FDM division with front desk support, ID card creation, and administrative tasks, while also helping with events, move-ins, and campus operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Clean driving record required.
• Minimum 1 year of passenger shuttle transport experience.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Administrative support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students, staff, faculty and guests per shuttle schedules.
• Arrive at collection points before departures and verify passenger capacity.
• Ensure shuttle vehicles are clean, fueled, and maintained; report issues.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Communicate professionally with campus community.
• Provide front desk support and campus ID card creation during reduced shuttle operations.
• Assist with transportation coordination, campus communications, and errands.
• Support special events, move-ins, orientations.
• Perform other duties to support FDM operations.
