Job summary

University of California, San Francisco is seeking a Shuttle Driver to operate a range of passenger shuttles on the San Francisco campus, transporting staff, faculty, students, and patients safely between sites.

Under supervision, you will maintain schedules, observe safety protocols, and communicate clearly with riders and supervisors. A valid Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement is required, along with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience operating commercial automotive equipment or equivalent.
• Valid California Class B Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement and good record.
• Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic; basic knowledge of routes and schedules.
• Must have no license restrictions beyond corrective lenses; background check required.
• Knowledge of city driving and safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate passenger shuttle buses between UCSF campus sites.
• Safely transport staff, faculty, students, and patients as needed.
• Maintain schedules, follow routes, and ensure timely service.
• Communicate clearly with passengers and supervisors; uphold safety rules.
