Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Security Supervisor in Maryville, MO to coordinate and lead security staff across campus. The role includes scheduling, training, and directing guards while also performing Security Guard duties on shift to ensure the safety of residents, staff, and facilities.

The ideal candidate has a HS Diploma with prior leadership experience in security, strong communication skills, and sound judgement to handle emergencies and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and follow safety practices.
• Ability to anticipate residents’ needs and exercise good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, supervise and schedule Security staff.
• Lead and manage the security team to protect residents, employees and property.
• Perform Security Guard duties on shift when needed.
• Hire, orient and train guards to organizational standards.
• Assign and audit WorxHub tasks for guards.
• Prepare, maintain and communicate weekly guard schedules.
• Make scheduling decisions and adjustments as needed.
• Manage performance evaluations and corrective actions.
