Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Observation in Asheville, NC. You will serve and safeguard clients across multiple industries, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The role offers flexible scheduling via our Claim a Shift platform, with a pay rate of $18.03 per hour. Minimum requirements include being 18+ years old, a high school diploma, and passing a background check and drug

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles (as applicable).
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and support campus policies related to authorized entry and property protection.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional manner.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and patrol activities for Allied Universal and site leadership.
