Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Reading, PA. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and document activities using technology to deter incidents and support a welcoming campus environment.

Key duties include responding to incidents and emergencies, patrolling academic and administrative spaces, and ensuring compliance with campus protocols.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet for routine tasks and communications.
• Customer service experience preferred and valued for interactions with students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, reports-driven manner per campus protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe campus activity, and report suspicious conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with campus representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
