Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer at a college in Middleton, MA. You will provide campus security, greet visitors, and support students, faculty, and staff while enforcing campus policies.

Shift is Friday to Sunday nights 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM, with paid orientation and training. Starting pay is $21.06 per hour, with opportunities to grow through the company's Claim a Shift platform and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following security procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report per campus protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus buildings, spaces, parking facilities, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized access; report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with directions, escorts, and campus information while maintaining professional communication.
