Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Access Verification in Orlando, FL. The role involves patrolling resort facilities, maintaining an armed presence, and supporting access control while delivering excellent guest service.

You will monitor for hazards, respond to incidents, and follow site procedures to deter unauthorized activity. A current Armed Guard Card/license and 21+ age are required.

Qualifications

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of resort buildings, guest areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for security-related hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations, and document observations and incidents in required reports.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while following applicable laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal procedures.
