Job summary

Allied Universal in Bryn Mawr, PA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Accountability to safeguard campus clients and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

You will conduct regular patrols, assist with access control, and respond to incidents with professional, solution-focused service. A high school diploma and background check are required; shifts run daytime into evenings and pay is competitive.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and security concerns in a calm, professional manner and follow established protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and documenting visitor activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols and concerns.
