Job summary

Allied Universal in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Security Officer Full Time to protect students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professional, calm service.

Day shifts are available with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour. This role offers the chance to grow within a team that values integrity, teamwork, and community safety on a dynamic educational campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and requests for assistance in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate responders.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of buildings, residence areas, parking facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards and policy violations per site procedures.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate with Allied Universal team and site representatives.
